TENNIS

All tennis courts will open mid May 2024 and close Oct. 25, 2024. Please refer to tennis notice and rules link.  Courts are open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prior to 9:00 a.m. tennis courts are cleaned and closed for maintenance from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Village operates and maintains 3 tennis courts. All feature a clay playing surface. Courts will not be open if wet. Courts will remain closed 24 to 48 hrs. after rain to prepare courts for use. Please call Village Hall to confirm closure. The courts are for the exclusive use of our residents. The courts are located on Wensley Drive, across from the entrance to the Russell Gardens Association pool. For questions regarding Russell Gardens Association's annual pool maintenance fee, contact Jill Krieger at (516) 829-5102. The maintenance fee is due December 31, 2023. The pool will open May 25, 2024. Dates of operation: May 25th through Sept. 2nd. Pool hrs.:

Please pay close attention to the following when playing on our tennis courts.

• Tennis courts open mid May and close for the season in November (weather permitted).

• Reservations for usage of courts cannot be made.

• Tennis courts are for the exclusive use of all the residents of Russell Gardens.

• Guests are permitted to play only when a host resident is a player on the courts.

• Food is not permitted on the courts.

• Dogs, scooters, skateboards and bikes are not permitted on the courts.

• Courts are not to be played on if they are wet.

• Adults must supervise young children at all times.

• Place all garbage in the garbage cans when departing the courts.

• Players are responsible to sweep and line courts after play.

• Proper attire is required at all times which includes flat bottom tennis shoes.
